A bi-partisan legislation was passed in the US Senate to ban the use of TikTok on government devices. Although this took 2 years, after several states banned the Chinese social media application, the US government finally took the right steps. There is talk about denying TikTok in the US, but this will take longer - especially when politicians, media personalities and influencers benefit from TikTok.
