When Blaming Jews Becomes a Campaign Strategy
Show Notes
“When a political campaign starts blaming Jews for the price of eggs and bananas, you’re not watching policy debate anymore—you’re watching history repeat itself.”
In an election season already drowning in division, the real danger isn’t disagreement, it’s the normalization of scapegoating. A Michigan Senate race has become a flashpoint for a much bigger question: what happens when politicians refuse to condemn messages that tie everyday economic frustrations to Israel and the Jewish community? Rising costs, struggling schools, housing affordability, and public safety are complex problems, yet some would rather point fingers and rely on racism than offer solutions. The result is a toxic mix of identity politics, antisemitism, political extremism, and outrage-driven campaigning that fuels resentment while avoiding accountability. History has shown where this road leads. When entire communities are blamed for inflation, social problems, or political failures, it doesn’t solve anything, it only deepens the divisions. Leadership means confronting real issues with real answers, not exploiting anger and prejudice for votes.

Solo Start And Election Mood
SPEAKER_00 0:01
Here we go again, everybody. Welcome back to the Rant Network. As you can see, I'm flying solo once again today. And over the next few weeks, we're gonna be alternating, I think, back and forth in terms of who's gonna be here and who's not gonna be here.
But I gotta tell you, what's gonna be crazy is once we get down to the election then in the United States, that's when we're gonna know who's gonna be here and who's really not gonna be here. And that's a question of, you know, let's get real. Your decision. As a Canadian, I can't decide.
And I wish I could vote in your election because really, especially in Michigan, what I find disgusting, totally and utterly disgusting, is the attitude. It's the most vile election that I can remember in my lifetime. I cannot recall. I wasn't around in 1968 and was born a year later.
And I know that 1968 was one of the hottest, contentious, one of the one of the worst, hot, you know, back, you know, with the Chicago riots and what have you, and Vietnam. And it was a hot time. It was a hot time. Nixon became president.
We know what happened afterwards. It was it was a 68 was tough. I got it. That's what my parents and others have always told me in my history.
When I wrote studied history, that's what I found out. But today we're in 2026. It's a midterm election, it's not a presidential election, it's a midterm election. And what's what's fascinating is that the rules of engagement are out the window.
Totally out the window in terms of right from wrong. You know, when what I mean by that is if we look at the candidates that have been floating around, and we we talked about this numerous times here at the Rant Network, is that the candidates put out by both sides, but more so by the Democrats, have completely lost their moral compass. Completely lost their moral compass. Where we're bringing in candidates who didn't win in many cases, who had these eccentric ideas.
I mean, when we were talking about MAGA way back when the left went talk about right wing extremism, and that word keeps coming up. Every time you say right wing, it's extreme. Nothing, there's nothing moderate with a right winger. Only left wingers are, or liberals or progressives are moderates.
That's what
Michigan Race And No Moderates
SPEAKER_00 2:20
they tell us. But here's the thing, folks, there's nothing moderate going around right now, especially in Michigan. Abdul El Said is running in in Michigan as a Democratic candidate against Mike Rogers. And it's a tight race.
And it is just an indication of how the United States is pivoting and shifting in light of what's going on. Now, El Said is going to play the is playing the race card like a good Democrat. Because every time you disagree with him or everything something is not good or whatever, he throws the race card back at you. Because you know, if I in if I offend you by calling you a racist, you'll vote for me.
That's the attitude. But he's going a step further, Al Said. And that is he's just taking jabs and jabs and jabs at everybody and everything. And he's making it your fault, your fault for the way things are in the United States.
Now, yeah, he's saying he's pushing the Democratic platform of, you know, Obamacare and more, you know, to help Michiganers and he's got the right messaging. My problem with El Said is who he has in his entourage. And that includes guys like Hassan Piker, who can who absolutely did campaign with him to win the nomination? And he denies it.
He denies that he's with Piker, which is we have video proof, we have audio proof, we have all kinds of proof that he associated himself with a left-wing nut who said that America deserved 9-11. I mean, what in God's name is wrong with you to say that Americans deserved to die on September 11, 2001? But when you understand the nature of these individuals, death, punishment, torture, violence, it's in their DNA. That's how they get you.
That's how they loop you in. And if you don't see what's going on in France and in other countries cities where they're trying to create this violent uprising, this is what Al Saeid and his crazies are up are upholding. Now, El Sayyid campaigned with Bernie, and he's campaigned with you know with AOC, and of course, most recently, former President Obama. Because you know, when Obama comes up and the hypocrite that he is and talks from the so-called moral high ground and has to teach you all how to act like human beings, because you don't understand none of you have the same morality as Barack Obama.
Well then,
Allies, Influencers, And Extremist Rhetoric
SPEAKER_00 5:10
it's crazy. It's crazy. But why am I ranting about this? Because you've heard this numerous times. My problem is that Abdul Al-Said surrounds himself with such colossal anti-Semites that he won't, he can't he can't distance himself. He gets his cronies like John Lovett, former Obama advisor, or stupid idiot fucker Mandy Petenkin, a former, a really, you know, a once proud actor, and you know, and he's and he's telling Jews, they're all telling Jews in Michigan, you gotta vote for El Said because the alternative. Someone who's an anti-Semite, because your democracy is at stake. Now, we've heard this rat before. We've heard this good Germans don't do this, and good English people and good French people, but at the end of the day, Jews are isolated in this matter and are used for fodder. And no different this time. Now, if you don't understand where I'm going with this, then you missed the ad that ran in Michigan that was one of the most disgusting, vile, racist ads I've ever
The Grocery Store Ad Breakdown
SPEAKER_00 6:35
seen. So the ad was supported by the ad itself. Let's talk about the ad. The ad basically has this couple in a grocery store and it shows them grumbling about the cost of eggs and bananas, claiming that had it not been for Aid to Israel, price of those would have gone down.
As the woman looks at her husband and says, honey, you're gonna have to put those eggs back. They like eggs, but you know, we have to set that $7 aside for killing Palestinians. And the man goes, Don't we give Israel $4 billion a year anyway? And she goes, Yeah, and now we're giving them another $26 billion.
It's like $161 per person. Apparently, it's costing us a lot of money to drop bombs on Gaza. Are you out of your tree? That ad ran in Michigan.
Now, who's the fucker who put that together? If you don't watch Pierce Morgan, then you don't know. Maybe you don't know Sink Weager, a colossal anti-Semite who's blamed everybody for every single problem, every single problem in the world is the Jews, it's the Republicans, and it doesn't matter. And Pierce Morgan, who's a goddamn son of a bitch chasing, you know, cliques, whatever, has him regularly on his show.
And yeah, he'll say yes, but I have Douglas Murray and I have John Ker Jonathan Conricus to counter the argument. But the people that he brings in on the side of that that's that is trying to show pro promote Israel or talk about Jews aren't racist, they're not anti-Muslim. Sank Uyghur is a freaking anti-Semite. And the rebellion pack created by the young Turks, which is the co he co-founded it, he blames the war in Iran for, of course, for higher gas prices, and he blames Mike Rogers of being too supportive of Israel.
Ladies and gentlemen, Israel doesn't even come close to the top country the United States aids. And the hypocrisy behind this ad, okay, is to blame Israel for the price of eggs and bananas is just bananas. Diesel prices are the reason why prices are going up. And the war with Iran, you want to blame Israel?
You want to blame Israel for the war in Iran. Okay, that's your thing. But to sit there and to say that we have to we because we give aid to Israel, we can't afford eggs and bananas. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a blood libel.
It's the most classic blood libel that we've seen for generations. Jews were blamed for killing Jewish for blaming for killing Christian babies to make Passover wine backward. That has that has consistently been the attitude. And on and on and on in this hate-filled, you know, for generations we've seen it.
Blame the Jews for what's wrong, not looking from within. And this is Sink Uyghur. This is Abdul al-Saeed. This is what even Jewish Democrats, God forbid, I shouldn't say that, Democrats who happen to be Jewish agree with.
We see it in New York, we see it in Michigan, we've seen it in other places, where it's time where even actors are still going out and blaming Israel for these nonsensical things like genocide and the nonsense. But what does that have to do with jobs in Michigan? What does that have to do with the housing prices in Michigan? What does that have to do with everyday life in Michigan?
Blaming Israel, the country that doesn't even get the top amount of aid. Now, it's interesting because when Elon Musk uncovered in all these this money that went to all these fringe countries, to went to all these fringe
Foreign Aid Facts And Blame Games
SPEAKER_00 10:40
projects, all these things to promote socialism and left-wing policies, and that no one cares. No one cares at all. Let's just pick on the one country, the only country in the Middle East that's a democracy. Let's find a way to blame the Jews for all of our problems.
So Abdul Al-Said could be elected. Now, this was a few days ago, and Al-Sayid was asked to, you know, what's he what's his stance on it? And he refused to answer. A refusal is enough of an answer, ladies and gentlemen.
Abdul Al-Said is loving it. That his minions, the Sink Uyghurs, and the Hassan Pikers are spreading enough hate and spreading enough misinformation and putting the planting the seed in people's minds of what's wrong so that they can ascend to power. That is perfect for Abdul al-Said. It is perfect for the democratic socialists.
And it's perfect for people like Obama, Bernie Sanders, AOC, and all the rest of them, who've been pushing socialism into your down your throats. But this alliance between what they call the red and the green, this is really great. The socialists and these Islamists, these extreme Islamists. If this is what you want, ladies and gentlemen, if this is what you believe in, so be it.
So be it. To sit here today and to blame Jews and Israel for your problems is nonsensical. Your education system is fucked up, not because of the money that went to Israel. And the fact that someone drove a car to try to blow up a synagogue and a daycare where kids are, and just because this is what you've created creating.
You're creating this violent uprising. That's just like you see in France, where churches, synagogues are being torched, Jewish businesses, Christian businesses, anybody who's not Muslim is getting torched and the violence at them is being is going up, not down in Europe, and it's coming to a neighborhood near you, thanks to guys like Abdul el-Saeid. This is what you've got to make a decision. For people to, you know, I don't care if you're Jewish or not, for you to tell me that I have to vote for a racist, someone who's called for my death, and to say that's better than voting for a Republican, give your head a shake.
I got a brain, I'm not listening to
Calling Out Bad Ads On Both Sides
SPEAKER_00 13:40
you. But that's okay. Now listen, you know, Vivek Ramaswali put out an ad that was absolutely vicious and disgusting. And I do not agree with that ad. That was just wrong. And I'm calling it out for what for him for what it is, is that he is he should not be running with those ads. But that's not racism, that's just stupid. And when Abdul Al-Said is standing around there and is pretending to shake your hand, ah, even ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, who's as much of a lefty as they get, you know, it's even he said blaming the price of bananas on Israel, you know, come on, consider that this packet is just another example of scapegoating the Jewish state. You know, at least we could thank him for another case study in anti-Semitism. Yeah. When Van Jones goes on CNN and denounces it like no one's business, and he ripped it. What does it tell you? Of course, it's exactly that. We're not dealing anymore with any form of morality. Since October 7th, 2023, this uprising is gone off the charts. Al Saeed is just the symbol. He's not the only one. He's just the symbol right now in Michigan of where you're heading. And with people smiling, laughing with this guy, the wolf in sheep's clothing, who once he gets elected, if he gets elected, and God help us if he does, hey, it's going to be disastrous. Now, yeah, you know, people are demanding him that he should take down that he should demand that the ad be taken down and unequivalently condemn
Post October 7th Anger And Violence
SPEAKER_00 15:30
it. But he didn't. And he won't. Because it's perfect.
It's perfect. Now, I'm just curious to know if anybody knows how much money goes to, I don't know, Egypt, Qatar, now Turkey, all these Muslim states, you know, Qatar and Turkey and Oman and all these countries that, by the way, promotes terrorism. And you're gonna say, oh, well, that's Trump. No, it's not just Trump.
It's Democrats, it's others, have been shelling out money to rogue nations for generations. And yet the only one you want to pick on is Israel, and by extension, blaming all the Jews for the problems in the United States. Your bananas to believe that the cost of bananas are related to Jews in the United States. Right?
You give them aid to Israel, that's why the cost is so high? No. And you can't tell me that you're gonna tie this in, that if we wouldn't give money to Israel, there'd be no war, there'd be no problem to Palestinians. Don't give me that hunk of bullshit.
You believe the Jews are the problem, you're the problem. If you believe Israel is what's wrong with your education system and why you can't afford eggs in the grocery store, you're the problem. Because your only vision is I gotta hate the Jew. The Jew has gotta be the one who's wrong.
The Jew's gotta be the hateful one. The Jew has gotta be the Shylock that we saw in Shakespeare, the one that's the crooked one, the one that is gonna take away, steal money from babies. Guys, I know that there are Jews running around in this election cycle saying that. And I don't even consider them Jews.
Just like, you know, just like African Americans are not gonna listen entirely to Obama and don't agree with Obama, and that those African Americans don't represent them. And it goes in both directions. Anybody who's gonna try to tell me that a vile anti-Semite is the best alternative to Trump and his administration or any Republican, I really need you to take a mental exam. Are you in your sane mind to believe that I'm gonna give my body and soul to a hateful individual?
Final Warning And Weekend Sign Off

We've been here before, ladies and gentlemen. We've been here many times before, and we're done. We're over with it. We are no longer going to tolerate it.
So should you decide, ladies and gentlemen, to vote for Abdul al-Said because you think that the Republicans are worse than Hitler, then maybe it's time for you to get out of your little shelter. Maybe it's time for you to open your eyes a little bit. Stay away from the MS Nows and the and the and the and the and the CNN you know commentators that just report the that the world has come to an end. We've heard this before from Democrats that the sky is falling.
Listen to previous podcasts. They always say that the sky is falling, but somehow the sky doesn't fall. Why now? Why do you say now it's the time that the sky is gonna fall?
Why are you saying now that Abdullah Said is gonna liberate America or any of these socialists or any of these racists? If you believe that Jews are the problem, then maybe you need to really go back to school, learn your history better. Because if it wasn't for Jews, let alone the Irish and the Italians and many other minorities, the United States wouldn't be where it is today. America was built on immigration, America was built on ingenuity, America was built on know-how and literally a push to strive for better.
That's what Jews, Italians, Irish, Chinese, you name it, came Koreans came to this to the United States to build upon. And to now sit here and to say that it's because of Jews we're in the shit that you're in is so ignorant. It's sad. But if Abdul al-Sahid cannot condemn an ad like that, what else is he gonna promote?
What else is he does he believe in? Have you asked yourself that question? Have you asked yourself that question? And if he cannot denounce a racist ad like that, what else does he have in his toolkit?
All right, ladies and gentlemen, that's it for me. Catch you on Monday. Have yourself a good weekend. Think about it, all right?
Take care.

And with people smiling, laughing with this guy, the wolf in sheep's clothing, who once he gets elected, if he gets elected, and God help us if he does, hey, it's going to be disastrous. Now, yeah, you know, people are demanding him that he should take down that he should demand that the ad be taken down and unequivalently condemn Post October 7th Anger And Violence SPEAKER_00 15:30 it.
Final Warning And Weekend Sign Off SPEAKER_00 18:10 We've been here before, ladies and gentlemen.
Take care.
